Feldenkrais Method Classes

Group classes are called Awareness Through Movement classes or ATMs.

These often take place lying down where you are verbally guided through a series of gentle and playful movement explorations.

These are designed to help you recognise your current movement patterns and to support you as you explore new possibilities which were previously not available to you.

There is no strain or pain involved - the phrases you are likely to hear are “do less” or ‘‘make the movement smaller”.

The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and is conducive to everybody learning at their own pace.

No special equipment is required - just wear comfortable clothing and it is a good idea to bring along an extra pair of warm socks. The classes are suitable for everyone but if you are pregnant or if you have difficulty getting up or down, to or from the floor, please contact me first.
